Sunday Lately is a fun way to share a little more about myself while reflecting on the past week.
This week’s themes are: Doing, Appreciating, Designing, Humming, Expecting
Doing: Breaking one of my sewing rules. I work one project at a time from start to finish, with little exception. I do this to keep UFOs out of my life and it is a rule that works well for me. This Saturday I attended an all day sew-in hosted by the Denver Sewing Collective for the first time. I cut out four projects to take along with me.
Appreciating: My husband because he is a wonderful man, husband, and daddy. I don’t imagine you’ll ever see his face here, so here’s a pic of the legs (he he) that are always ready for “I want to be carried”, that do the manly work around our home, and that would go to the ends of the earth for his family and faith.
Designing: I’m working on a new bag design and tutorial for August. I just need to find the motivation to work up some samples.
Humming: Don’t Stop Believin’ -Journey.
Hum/sing along with me, I bet you can’t stop.
Expecting: Someone in my family is expecting, so I’m glad to be rounding up some of the baby gear to share (and get out of my house).
